Terms of Service
Last updated October 7, 2026
The short version: Be kind, don't post anything harmful or illegal, and remember that nothing is guaranteed to stay up. Litly is a place to vent, not a substitute for professional help.
Using Litly
By using Litly (litly.com), you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your content
- You're responsible for what you post. Only post things you have the right to share.
- You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you give Litly a limited license to store and display it to other people on the site until it is deleted.
- Posts are public and visible to anyone, and other people can copy or screenshot them. Don't post anything you wouldn't want seen.
- The public feed may start fresh from time to time, but posts and replies stay on the site and on your profile until you delete them. You can delete your own posts and replies at any time. We don't promise that any post will stay up for any particular length of time.
Rules
Don't post or do any of the following:
- Harassment, hate, threats, or content that targets another person.
- Anyone's private information, including names, phone numbers, emails, addresses or social media handles (yours or someone else's).
- Sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children.
- Content that encourages or instructs self-harm or suicide.
- Links, ads, scams, spam, or attempts to move people to other platforms.
- Anything illegal, or anything that violates someone else's rights.
- Attempts to break, overload or get around the service, including bots and automated posting, or to dodge a block.
Moderation
We may remove content, limit access, or block people at any time, for any reason, including to keep people safe. We may also remove an account. Moderation decisions are ours to make.
Accounts
You can read Litly without an account, but you need one to post, reply or upload photos. You sign in with Google or Apple and you're responsible for activity on your account. Your posts and replies appear under your public username and avatar, and your profile page lists them; we don't show your name or email. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Not professional help
Litly is a community space for venting, not medical, mental health or crisis support. Other users aren't professionals, and we can't monitor every post or respond to emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
The service as it is
Litly is provided "as is" and "as available," without promises that it will always work, be error-free, or be available. To the fullest extent the law allows, Litly is not liable for content posted by users, for lost content, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date above, and continuing to use Litly means you accept the updated terms.
